When “A Little Weathering” Isn’t Enough

Rob Arsenault recently sent us a few photos of his weathering work on NARC cars - and the results are seriously impressive.

These cars have been taken well beyond the factory-fresh look, with the dirt, grime and variation that really bring out the character of cars that have spent years in service.

We always enjoy seeing what talented modellers and weathering artists can do with NARC models. Thanks, Rob, for sharing these fantastic results with us!

Our N Scale Marine Industries Cylindrical Hoppers have arrived from the factory and are now on their way to our warehouse in B.C. They’re expected to arrive in the coming days, pending customs clearance.

Based on the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific 4,550 cubic-foot prototype, these cars feature the distinctive grain hatches and a host of prototype-specific details, including etched brass running boards, multiple end and brake variations, detailed outlet gates, cut levers, and North American Railcar high-performance trucks.

And this model has never been produced in N scale before.
