🐾🇪🇬 Bulldog Vacations Review with Exoticca: Egypt! 🇪🇬🐾
Egypt has been on our bucket list for years, and it definitely delivered! This was our 5th trip with Exoticca, and once again we had an amazing adventure.
✨ Our Top 3 Highlights: 1️⃣ Standing in awe of the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Pictures simply do not do them justice. 2️⃣ The unforgettable hot air balloon ride at sunrise over the Nile Valley. 3️⃣ Exploring the Citadel and visiting King Tutankhamun's Tomb, two incredible pieces of history that left a lasting impression.
🌞 A word of warning, Egypt is HOT! Temperatures ranged from 30°C to 38°C, and some days started as early as 3:00 AM, making for some very long but rewarding days.
❤️ The real star of the trip was our guide, Isis. After five Exoticca tours, we can honestly say she was the best guide we've ever had. Her knowledge, organization, and passion for Egypt made the experience even more special.
🏨 The hotels varied throughout the trip, but overall they were good, clean, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. One hotel had a pretty hard bed, but after those long sightseeing days, falling asleep wasn't a problem!
🚢 The Nile River cruise was fair. The ship itself was a little dated and certainly wasn't a Viking or AmaWaterways experience, but the service and food were very good, and that's what mattered most.
👥 With 27 people in our group, this was the largest group we've travelled with. It turned out to be a lot of fun, and we met some wonderful fellow travellers, especially many friendly Canadians. Every trip teaches you something, and we definitely learned what we'll pack and bring for our next adventure.
✅ Would we recommend this trip? Absolutely. But it's best suited for travellers who enjoy adventure, early mornings, hot weather, and busy days packed with sightseeing. Egypt isn't a relaxing beach vacation, it's a true adventure through one of the world's most fascinating civilizations.
