Congratulations to our very own Hank Williams on receiving Energy NL’s John C. Crosbie Award for Outstanding Contribution!

Hank’s leadership, commitment to safety and people, and contributions to Newfoundland and Labrador’s energy industry have made a lasting impact both at Cougar Helicopters and throughout the industry.

We also extend our congratulations to all of this year’s Energy NL Industry Achievement Award recipients on their well-deserved recognition.

Energy NL shared the following about Hank and his contribution to our industry:

For more than two decades, Hank Williams has been a familiar and trusted presence in Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore industry. Under his leadership as Chief Operating Officer, Cougar Helicopters has earned recognition as a global leader in harsh-environment helicopter operations, demonstrating that a regional company can stand proudly alongside the world’s largest operators.

Wherever Hank goes, he carries his pride in Newfoundland and Labrador with him. Through his warmth, humour, storytelling, and gracious hospitality, he has become a true ambassador for this province and for the people who make its energy sector thrive.

Today, we held our annual Campus Cleanup, with employees pitching in to collect garbage and debris around our facilities.

Keeping our grounds clean is about more than appearances. Foreign Object Debris (FOD) can pose a serious hazard around helicopter operations, making initiatives like our Campus Cleanup an important part of maintaining a safe operating environment.

After the cleanup, we treated the team to lunch from Soul Azteka Catering / Poko Loko Food Truck, and they did not disappoint! A big thank you to their team for the delicious food and great service. We would highly recommend them!

Thank you as well to everyone who took part in this year's cleanup and helped keep our campus clean and safe.
