We came, we saw, we plogged - small actions, big impact 🌱
On April 22, the Squamish community came together for the second annual Earth Day clean-up, hosted by Squamish Adventure Inn x Capra Running. From downtown streets to local trails, volunteers of all ages joined a social “plogging” run - walking, jogging, and picking up litter along the way.
💚 In just about an hour, 20+ volunteers made a real impact, collecting everything from tiny scraps to unexpected finds.
As co-organizers, Solana and Tara shared that it was “great to see more faces” this year and a reminder that it’s “more fun to see what you can collect, big and small.” They emphasized that, most importantly, more hands really do make a difference.
The evening wrapped up with good conversation, healthy snacks, and ice-cold ginger beer on tap thanks to the great local folks at Dentville Drinks! 🍻
Big pat on the back to everyone who showed up, pitched in, and helped make our adventure basecamp a little bit cleaner.
See you in 2027?
