Internal emergency alarm system to be tested at Squamish Terminals February 25.

Squamish Terminals will be testing a new emergency alarm system on Friday, February 25 at 1 p.m. that will be used in the event of an emergency contained within the Squamish Terminals site, such as a workplace accident or fire. Because of the noisy nature of Squamish Terminals’ operations, the alarm system is required to be quite loud and will be heard from outside the property. Residents may hear a long blast like a ship horn in 15-20 second intervals while testing is underway.
