Honoring a Legacy of Love, Passion and Adventure.

Hello dear friends,

It’s been a while since we’ve shared anything here, and even longer—more than three years—since I lost my beloved sister, Mae Ann. Today, as I reflect on the journey we began together, I feel compelled to share our story once more, in her loving memory.

This page was born from a dream that my sister and I shared—a dream to help others turn their travel aspirations into reality, one voyage at a time. Mae Ann and I poured our hearts into this vision, inspired by our shared passion for discovering the world and creating unforgettable experiences for others. Together, we worked tirelessly to nurture this dream, balancing life’s many demands with a deep love for what we were building.

But as life often does, it threw us an unimaginable curveball. When I lost my sister, I not only lost my partner in this journey but also a piece of my heart. The grief was profound, and everything we had worked for came to an abrupt pause. For a long time, I struggled to find my way forward without her.

Even amidst the pain, however, I learned to embrace life again—not to escape the grief but to honor Mae Ann’s vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to every moment. I realized that happiness, love, and adventure are not just experiences but gifts we owe ourselves, even in the face of loss.

Yesterday, January 18th, would have marked six years since we launched this page together—a milestone that feels bittersweet. As I reflect on the early days of this journey, I am reminded of Mae Ann’s unwavering dedication, her boundless creativity, and her ability to balance her many roles with grace and love. Whether she was crafting something savoury and sweet, or brainstorming how to make someone’s dream trip a reality, she poured her whole heart into everything she did.

While the business itself is no longer active in the way we envisioned, this page remains so much more than a business to me. It is a testament to Mae Ann’s legacy, her love for baking, travel, and her commitment to bringing joy to others. Through this space, I hope to honor her memory by sharing stories, experiences, and moments that capture the essence of what we built together—a celebration of life, adventure, and connection.

To everyone who supported us, journeyed with us, or cheered us on from afar, thank you. Your presence and encouragement mean more than words can express.

As I continue to navigate this path, I invite you to join me in remembering Mae Ann, celebrating her life, and embracing the adventures still waiting for us. Let this page be a space where her spirit lives on, inspiring us all to live fully, love deeply, and explore the beauty of the world around us.

With love,
Myrabelle
