🚨 REAL TALK WEDNESDAY 🚨

One of the things I hear most often is:

💬 "But I only paid $1,500 per person a few years ago."

Or...

💬 "It's almost double what I paid before."

And honestly?

You're not wrong.

Fuel costs more.
Groceries cost more.
Power bills cost more.
Insurance costs more.

Everything costs more.

Travel isn't immune to that.

Flights cost more.
Hotels cost more.
Airport transfers cost more.
The demand for travel is still incredibly strong.

As a result, many vacations that were around $1,500 per person a few years ago are now closer to $2,500–$3,000 per person, depending on the destination, resort, and travel dates.

I know it can be frustrating.

I see it every day when I'm pricing vacations for clients.

The challenge is that many people are still budgeting based on what travel used to cost instead of what it costs today.

That's why I spend a lot of time helping clients understand what their budget will realistically get them and where the best value can be found.

Sometimes it's a different travel date.
Sometimes it's a different resort.
Sometimes it's booking earlier.

Travel is still absolutely worth it.

The prices have changed, but the memories are still priceless. 🌴💙

Because it checks a lot of boxes for families.

The beach is beautiful, the resort has plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and there are some surprisingly good dining options throughout the property.

A few of my personal "don't miss" suggestions?

🌮 The fish tacos are worth ordering.
🍹 The Apple Mojito is a guest favorite for a reason.
📱 Downloading the Hyatt app before you arrive will make your week much easier.

If you're looking for an adults-only resort but don't want a wild party atmosphere, Haven might be exactly what you're looking for.

I often recommend it to couples who want to relax, enjoy good food, spend time by the pool, and actually come home feeling refreshed. 🍹☀️

What I like most about Haven is that it feels laid-back. You can spend the day reading by the pool, walking the beach, enjoying a nice dinner, or simply doing absolutely nothing at all (which is sometimes the best vacation plan!).
