Triple S Transport is looking to fill a full-time Logistics Coordinator position. A Logistics Coordinator is someone who works closely with drivers and management to oversee the movement and distribution of goods. Triple S Transport is a COR (Certificate of Recognition) certified company based out of Shellbrook, Saskatchewan and has been providing a reliable and dependable service for more than 25 years with 20 trucks and trailers including flat decks and tankers.
Location: Shellbrook, Saskatchewan (must be willing to commute to Shellbrook, Saskatchewan for work).
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 (To be negotiated based on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 40 hours/week

Experience:
• Trucking industry knowledge is an asset.
• Computer experience is an asset.
• Operating Electronic mail
• Operate GPS and other navigation equipment
• Operate dispatch management service software
• Operate monitoring and tracking software
Languages: English
Qualifications:
• Experience in trucking industry and logistics coordinator is an asset but willing to train
• Knowledge of local and international shipping, freight brokering and load logistics
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Being able to work under pressure, handle tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills (including good oral and written communication)
• Attention to detail is a must and must have excellent organizational skills
• Client focused and a team player
• Flexible and reliable
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, bill of ladings, payroll, and other summaries
• Maintain work records and logs
• Provide customer service
• Assist with maintenance of communications equipment
• Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
• Keep track of shipments
• Perform general office duties
• Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
• Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
• Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
