Great Western Railway is pleased to introduce ClearCost and invite all producers to upcoming information meetings in your area.

We know input costs have been a real challenge—especially with fertilizer prices putting pressure on margins. ClearCost was built to help producers bring more transparency and control to their cost of production, so you can make better decisions going forward.

📍 Producer Meetings:

June 23 – Shaunavon, Canalta Hotel @ 10 AM
June 24 – Assiniboia, Canalta Hotel @ 10 AM

These sessions will be a chance to learn what ClearCost can do, ask questions, and see how it may help strengthen your operation heading into the next season.

If you’ve been feeling squeezed by rising input costs, this is a conversation worth having.

At Great Western Railway, rail safety is more than just a policy—it’s a shared responsibility and a commitment to our communities across Southwestern Saskatchewan.
During Rail Safety Week, we're joining forces with Operation Lifesaver Canada and CPKC to raise awareness and prevent tragic incidents at railway crossings and along tracks. Every year, lives are lost due to trespassing and ignoring railway signs and signals—but every single one of those incidents is preventable.

Here’s how you can stay safe:
✅ Cross only at designated railway crossings.
✅ Obey all railway signs, signals, and gates.
✅ Never use tracks as a shortcut or photo location.
✅ Never try to beat an approaching train—you won't win.

Keep an eye out for this colourful Railcar that was painted during the 2025 South West Mural Fest in celebration of our 25th anniversary.

It is part of GWR’s fleet of 250 Railcars and will soon be shipping grain across the prairies.
