Meet Donald Jake Yaquin, a Flatbed Driver with Sunbury Transport.

Since joining Sunbury Transport in February 2026, Donald has been helping keep freight moving while bringing a unique perspective to life on the road.

With 10 years of trucking experience, Donald has travelled countless miles and seen many incredible places along the way. When a scenic view catches his eye, he takes the opportunity to capture it through photography, often with his truck as part of the shot. His photos offer a glimpse into the journeys, landscapes and experiences that come with life behind the wheel.

For Donald, every mile has a story, and photography is a way to preserve the memories made along the road. We're proud to share some of the moments he's captured during his travels. 📸🚛

Meet Mark Raithby and Kida 🐾🚛

Over the past eight years, Mark has hauled a wide variety of freight across Atlantic Canada and played an important role in training drivers at Sunbury.

From raw gypsum hauled between Petitcodiac and Saint John to lumber deliveries throughout the region, Mark has experience across many areas of the business. Since returning from parental leave this spring, he has continued keeping freight moving safely and efficiently while travelling routes throughout the Maritimes.

Along for many of those trips is Kida, Mark's nearly one-year-old dog. Whether the day involves hauling chips, logs, gypsum or lumber, Kida has become a familiar travelling companion and a regular presence in the cab.

At Sunbury, dedicated drivers like Mark help ensure our customers' products reach their destinations every day, safely and on time.

From Billing Administrator to Team Lead

Whitney Hicks's journey at RST Industries is a great example of what career growth can look like when passion, dedication and leadership come together.

Since joining RST in 2018, Whitney has embraced opportunities to learn, lead and support those around her. Today, as Team Lead, Billing, she's helping build a strong, collaborative team culture while continuing to champion continuous improvement across the business.

When she's not supporting her team, Whitney is giving back through PALS - Partners Assisting Local Schools and helping lead initiatives within the organization that create opportunities for connection, development and inclusion.

Join us in celebrating Whitney and the impact she continues to make at RST Industries. 👏

For Andrii Zaivyi, one of the biggest benefits of working in the Sunbury Chips Division is the combination of stability and flexibility.

"Most importantly, it allows me to build a successful career while still being present for my family."

Since joining Sunbury in 2022, Andrii has built his experience hauling wood chips throughout New Brunswick. What once felt new and challenging has become a rewarding career that gives him more variety in his day-to-day.

We're proud to have Andrii on the team and grateful to be part of his journey.

🚛 Every truck has a story.

This Sunbury Transport truck was captured in the summer of 1974 near the Massachusetts Turnpike in Westfield, Mass. More than 50 years later, it stands as a reminder of the people, equipment and highways that laid the foundation for today's trucking industry.

Here's to the drivers and teams, past and present, who keep North America moving.

Happy National Trucking Week!
