SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT
Hugo’s Bus considers the health and safety of our passengers, clients and employees our top priority. Our chauffeurs strictly adhere to every cleanliness procedure and protocol to ensure we are doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Due to the increase in local COVID-19 cases in the Saint John and surrounding areas and the move to Orange Level, we are closely monitoring information released by the Government of New Brunswick.
We have developed an extensive safety plan, consulting with every local, provincial, and federal guidelines for the next steps, to stay on top of this evolving situation with the most up-to-the-minute information, and to ensure that the best policies & procedures are in place, and that everyone on our team is comprehensively trained to those stringent operating measures.
We understand, however, that you may have concerns about travel. We would like to ease your worries by sharing with you the procedures we are enhancing to assure your safety and safety of our team members.
While we have always thoroughly cleaned our vehicles after each rental, we are enhancing our cleaning efforts to pay special attention to high touch areas such as door handles and seating areas. Each surface is thoroughly wiped down with a multi-purpose cleaner and an effective, high-grade approved disinfectant. Vehicle interiors will be thoroughly wiped down between each trip.
When not in use, our vehicles will be stored in direct sunlight allowing UV light into the vehicles and all efforts will be made to allow as much fresh air as possible in between rentals.
Counter Measures
We have installed hand sanitizing stations on all vehicles for customer use.
We are providing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks and gloves for our employees to wear while working. At this time, we will be requiring that employees wear a face covering while traveling in our vehicles.
Team members will perform temperature checks on every chauffeur at the beginning of each shift.
All vehicles will be equipped with an infrared digital thermometer gun so passengers may also check themselves and their group prior to the trip.
Action Items while in code orange:
-Maximum number of guests 20
-Masks are required
-Hand sanitizer must be used each time entering the bus
-Each person will distance 1 meter apart
-Contact tracing is required, a list is to be submitted before departure with name and phone number of each guest
-guests must self monitor before entering the bus. Any signs of covid 19, travelled outside the Atlantic bubble, or has been exposed to somebody with Covid 19 IN NOT PERMITTED ON THE BUS. -Temperature checks
-we will also reduce our rates by 15% for all current bookings while in code orange
Our customers are our number one priority. Unfortunately, we are unable to give deposit refunds while in Code Orange. However, will give credit of 1.25 times more the deposit for future bookings. For example, if a $100 deposit was made, we will give you a $125 credit for your next booking. Thank you for understanding, we have high operational costs.
