Fall build season on the Island means more material on hand and fewer dry days to store it. Here's how local trades keep their gear sorted 👇

1. Keep a container on the lot so material lands once — not shuttled daily from a yard.

2. Store moisture-sensitive stock — board, insulation, fixtures — sealed and dry through the wet months.

3. Lock high-value tools on-site instead of loading the truck out every night.

4. Stage the next phase inside, so a rain day doesn't stall the crew.

5. Rent for the season — flex the term to the job and return it when the build wraps.

Rent a container for the build season — dropped where you need it, gone when you're done.

How does your crew handle material storage through the wet season?

There's plenty of summer left ☀️

Whether it's the second-home setup, the tourist-season overflow, or just toys with nowhere to go, a container delivered Victoria to Sidney keeps it all secure and out of the way.

Plenty of island summer left to enjoy. 🌊 What's taking up your space right now? Tell us below. 👇

Thinking about a container for your Island property? Before you commit, walk the delivery route 👇

1. Measure your access: driveway width, gateposts and overhead branches. Delivery trucks need real clearance.

2. Check the approach: tight lots, soft shoulders and steep drives all affect how, and whether, a truck can place it.

3. Pick a level, drained spot: a few blocks under the corners beats a unit sitting in standing water.

4. Confirm local rules: some Island municipalities have siting or permit requirements for containers, so a quick check with yours saves headaches.

5. Decide buy vs. rent up front: a short project leans rental; a permanent workshop or storage build leans purchase.

Whether you're buying or renting, we'll help you sort placement before delivery day — send us your lot details.

Tight lot? Tell us what you're working with and we'll talk you through it.

A container isn't just storage, it's a shell people turn into something.

Across the Island we've seen them become backyard workshops, art studios, home gyms and quiet office pods: insulated, powered, and built to hold up in the coastal damp.

Buy the box, build the space. What would you make with one? 👇

Island moves and renos run on their own clock — ferry schedules, contractor availability, that "island time" magic. ⛴️

A container gives your project breathing room: load at your pace, store right on site, no racing a truck-rental clock.

Living on the coast has its perks — but island damp isn't kind to stored gear. 🌊 A few tips to keep everything in top shape:

1️⃣ Keep items off the floor on pallets

2️⃣ Add a few moisture absorbers

3️⃣ Choose a weather-tight container

4️⃣ Crack it open on dry days for airflow

Your stuff comes out the way it went in — salt air and all. Save this! 🔖
