British Columbia seafood has long been recognized on the global stage for its premium quality, sustainability, and deep connection to the clean waters of the Pacific. From sea urchin to wild salmon, harvesters and processors have built a reputation that reaches markets across Asia, Europe, and beyond.
Strong international marketing—supported by industry and government partnerships—has been key to telling that story, showcasing not just the product, but the people and coastal communities behind it.
The first joint BC pavilion/podium 2016 in Qingdao China, marked an important step forward, helping position BC seafood as a world-class choice and opening doors that continue to benefit the industry today.
Hard to believe this was 10 years ago… time flies!
