Ferguson Moving Richmond is looking for a Move Manager
Job Description:
As an Outside “Move Manager” for Ferguson Moving & Storage, the main objective will be building revenue through C.O.D. Residential and Corporate sales, generally in Richmond, South Vancouver, and Delta areas. The ideal “Move Manager” has a positive attitude, proven interpersonal skills, a successful track record in outside sales, and the ability and willingness to vary their working hours to accommodate our client’s availability. They must have a clean driver abstract and a good command of the English language. Other languages are an asset. You will be working out of our Richmond office.
Ferguson Moving provide:
A company car, gas card and cell phone for company use.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide “Concierge” service to our clients, always focused on lifting their stress by providing professional personal care beyond the basic moving requirements. Finding ways to take tasks that we can handle away from the client.
To meet pre-arranged appointments, responding to internet move requests, developing effective presentations and pursuing targeted leads.
Manage your time effectively, Hours of work are variable due to survey’s outside of the normal business hours, however a minimum of forty (40) hours is expected.
Provide customers with a single point of contact service. Manage all aspects of booked moves, introducing crews, being on site to start of the move with the crew, scheduling dates, handling claims and after sales support, collecting deposits and receivables.
Through telephone work and client visits: present professionally and clearly the opportunities and value of our products and services per Standard Operating Procedures.
Orchestrate the appropriate sales approach for different customers with consideration to sales cycles required to solicit business per Standard Operating Procedures.
Proactively promote the products and services offered by Ferguson Moving & Storage.
Maintain a close watch on the market on competitive issues, keeping the company abreast of new developments.
Seek out new leads for domestic, long distance, and commercial sales.
Achieve targets for minimum domestic sales.
Any other duties deemed necessary to the position
Reporting Structure
Outside Sales Move Managers report directly to the “Sales Manager”.
Outside Sales Move Managers will provide a bi-weekly activity report to the “Sales Manager”.
