🏕️ Weekend Recap: Camping Pokemouche 🌊

This weekend, we packed up and headed to Camping Pokemouche in Northern New Brunswick and it was the family getaway we needed! 💙

Our waterfront campsite gave us the perfect place to relax. We set up our tent gazebo by the water, took in the peaceful views and enjoyed spending time together. 🌅

The kids spent hours:
💦 Splashing around at the water park
🦘 Bouncing on the giant jumping pillow
🏊 Swimming in the pool
👫 Making new friends around the campground
⚽ Playing soccer (which my son absolutely loves!)

It was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation and making memories together. 💚

🍻 An evening at Mikes B**r Garden in Miramichi!

We love this little spot. ❤️ Every time we are in Miramichi, Mike's B**r Garden is one of those places we look forward to visiting. It is laid-back, welcoming and the perfect place to relax on a summer evening. ☀️

If you are visiting Miramichi or just looking for a spot to catch up with friends, this is one worth checking out. ✨

🌊 Day Trip to Bathurst, NB 🚗

Sometimes the best adventures are the ones you do not plan. ✨

We woke up and decided to hit the road for a quick 2–3 hour day trip and we ended up in Bathurst! Our first stop was La Promenade Waterfront, where we walked around the area with the local shops, sat by the water and enjoyed the beautiful view. 🌊

We then made our way to the fountain in the heart of downtown, where we spent some time relaxing and soaking up the summer day. ⛲

To finish off the day, we treated ourselves to a delicious Chinese buffet at House of Lee, the perfect way to end our little getaway. 🥡

It just goes to show that you do not need a big vacation to make great memories. Sometimes all it takes is a tank of gas, a few hours and a sense of adventure. ❤️

☀️ A fun-filled weekend at Hartt Island Campground Ltd., Fredericton! 🏕️

Last weekend, we packed up the camper and headed to Hartt Island in Fredericton for an unforgettable family getaway. 🚐

As soon as we arrived, we made our way straight to the water park and waterslides. The kids could not wait to jump in and Friday evening was spent racing down slides, swimming and making the most of our passes. 🛝

Later that night, while we were out for a walk, we unexpectedly ran into friends who were camping there too! We had no idea they were coming and since our kids are around the same age, they spent the rest of the weekend together. It turned out to be such a fun surprise. ❤️

Saturday was another full day at the pool until the rain rolled in around supper. 🌦️ Throughout the weekend, the kids also spent hours playing mini putt, adding even more fun to their camping adventure. ⛳ It was Christmas in July and the campground was filled with decorated campsites. Santa even made a special visit, adding a little extra magic to an already amazing weekend. 🎅

The kids also joined in on Chocolate Bar Bingo. 🍫 We bought five chocolate bars to play and my daughter ended up winning 2 of the 6 games, bringing home 23 chocolate bars! 🏆 Even with the rain, the kids were right back in the pool afterward. 🌧️ Sometimes those unexpected moments end up becoming the best memories.

By Sunday, we packed up with happy hearts and so many wonderful memories. It was a truly memorable weekend. We will definitely be back! 🥰

🌊 Throwback Thursday : Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia ☀️

Today we are looking back at one of our favourite family adventures from 2024 at Atlantic Splash Adventure in Nova Scotia!

The kids absolutely loved these water slides and spent hours racing down them. It turned into one of those summer days they will never forget. 🛝

If you are looking for a fun family day trip in Nova Scotia, this is definitely a spot worth adding to your summer bucket list. 💦

📍 Bouctouche, New Brunswick

Some views make you want to stop and stay a little longer. 🌅

We caught this beautiful sunset over the water in Bouctouche. As the sun dipped below the horizon, everything seemed to slow down, creating one of those peaceful moments you wish could last forever. 🌞

If you are exploring New Brunswick, be sure to spend an evening by the waterfront in Bouctouche.

This new add-on sounds like the perfect place to relax between all the water slides and attractions. ☀️

I can not wait to see it when it is opens! 💙

Something BIG is floating into Shining Waters... 🌊

We're beyond excited to announce that we're building a brand-new 600-foot-long Lazy River, the biggest expansion in Shining Waters' 20-year history!

Opening in 2027, you'll soon be able to grab a tube, kick back, and float your way around our newest attraction, designed for guests of all ages to enjoy.

Don't worry, construction is happening in a separate area of the park, so you'll still have full access to all your favourite attractions this season, including the Buccaneer Bay Bullet, CannonBowl, splash pad, and so much more.
