More than just a ski guide! ⛷️🏔️

​While our pilots are at the controls, the guides at help ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation by being our eyes on the outside. 👀

​Before every departure, they're checking that the ski basket is closed, seat belts are where they should be, doors and latches are secured, and the area around the helicopter is safe for departure before giving us the thumbs up, indicating that it's safe to lift. 👍

​Their role doesn't stop once the doors are closed, either. Inside the aircraft, they effectively act as our co-pilots by helping us make operational flight decisions, navigating the complex alpine terrain, and serving as a vital second set of eyes for air traffic or environmental hazards on every approach and departure.

​They are an integral part of the flight operation! 🚁🤝
