Fleet & Operations Coordinator

T. Doyle Transport Ltd. is a family-owned transportation company serving Western Canada for over 40 years. We’re looking for a motivated Fleet & Operations Coordinator to help keep our fleet running efficiently while supporting our operations team.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with drivers, coordinating equipment, and improving processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs for our leased fleet.
Work with leasing companies and repair vendors.
Monitor ELD and Hours of Service compliance.
Support drivers with equipment and operational issues.
Coordinate oversize permits and driver compliance requirements.
Perform light-duty maintenance (lights, electrical cords, minor repairs).
Support City Cartage operations and provide coverage when needed (Class 1 required).
Help improve operational processes through technology and Axon software.

Qualifications;

Valid Class 1 driver’s licence.
2–4 years of transportation or logistics experience preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable using technology and learning new software.
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.

T. Doyle Transport Ltd. is looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan.

As a family-owned transportation company with over 40 years in business, we are seeking a hands-on professional to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This position works closely with ownership and our external accounting firm.

Responsibilities
•Oversee full-cycle accounting
•Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow
•Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
•Complete month-end reconciliations and regulatory filings (GST, payroll, etc.)
•Support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis
•Coordinate with our external accounting firm for year-end reporting

Qualifications
•5+ years of accounting experience
•Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting
•Transportation or logistics experience is an asset
•Experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Axon experience is an asset)
•Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

The successful candidate will be responsible for hauling LTL and local shipments within Calgary and surrounding areas, working closely with our operations team to ensure exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include: performing city and local pickups and deliveries, operating safely and efficiently, maintaining accurate logbooks and documentation, conducting daily equipment inspections, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
