On May 23, Central Alberta school bus drivers put their skills to the test at the 43rd annual Local School Bus Road-eo. Prairie Bus Lines drivers navigated a challenging obstacle course with competitors from Red Deer Catholic, Chinooks Edge and the Wolf Creek school divisions also competing.

The drivers participated in a variety of skill-testing events such as offset alley, diminishing clearance and a simulated railroad crossing. The Road-eo was a wonderful opportunity to recognize professionalism and dedication. Truly a celebration of safety and teamwork.

Congratulations to the following Prairie Bus Lines school bus drivers.

The drivers will be participating in the Provincial School Bus Road-eo in Nisku, scheduled for June 6, 2026.

It is a privilege to continue our participation in Pink Shirt Day!
Pink Shirt Day is a message of inclusivity and compassion, taking a direct stance against bullying.

With our focus on the safety and well-being of our riders both on, and off the bus, we are graced with being involved in this initiative and encourage all of you to wear a pink shirt on February 25 in solidarity for this anti-bullying campaign.

This year's theme is Driven By Kindness.

We drive our most precious cargo to and from school each day in a safe environment. Our participation is a symbol to the community that children are not only driven to school - they are Driven By Kindness.
