The water main break on Aspen Street has been successfully repaired, and service is restored to affected residents. While water is back on, the Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) remains active until further notice.

09/06/2026

A Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) is issued due to line depressurization to the residences affected by the Aspen Street water break.
Residences affected by the water break will have the water turned on Sunday, September 6, 4–7 PM, Monday, September 7, 6–9 AM & 4–7 PM. Water pressure may be reduced.
When the water is turned on residents may use water normally. Be sure to store enough water in clean pots, jugs, or buckets to cover your cooking, cleaning, and flushing needs while the water is shut off in between.
When public works re-pressurizes the line, taps may sputter or run cloudy/brown initially. Let the cold water tap run briefly until it settles before filling containers.
We thank you for your patience and will keep residents updated as more details become available.

📢 Community Notice: Canadian Red Cross Canvassers in Town

We’ve received a few inquiries at the office regarding representatives going door-to-door collecting donations for the Canadian Red Cross.

We have checked with the Indian Head RCMP, and they have confirmed that legitimate Canadian Red Cross canvassers are currently active in our area.

How to verify a canvasser at your door:
Official ID & Vests: Canvassers will wear branded Canadian Red Cross clothing/lanyards and carry official identification badges.

Thank you to everyone who called in to check—staying informed keeps our community safe! Feel free to share this post to help spread the word to neighbors.
