We know it’s a tough time for our industry. WE'RE HIRING! We are seeking an experienced Journeyperson Welder for our shop in Prince George, BC (Red Seal is an asset).

The position pays $33–$45/hour, based on experience and qualifications, and includes a dedicated welding bay and tools to weld, fabricate, and repair tractors and trailers. We offer extended health and wellness benefits, as well as RRSP and pension contributions.

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Celebrate by entering their 7th annual national photo contest! 📸

In celebrating , the Canadian Institute of Forestry and the NFW-BC Coalition invite you to participate in the 7th annual national photo contest. It runs the duration of NFW, September 20-26. Photos must showcase forests and trees in Canada. Contest winners will receive a prize and a special feature of their photograph in various CIF digital communication outlets.

Entries are to be a digital photograph (JPEG or PNG) and submitted electronically by email to [email protected]. The entry deadline is end-of-day September 26. Include the name of the photographer and contact information, as well as a short caption describing the photograph, including the location of where it was captured.
