The Southport Ground Crew was hard at work this morning! ✈️

Southport staff rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at the Rotary Duck Pond in Island Park, planting colourful flowers and helping prepare the Southport Landing Zone for another summer season.

It was a great morning of giving back, beautifying a community space, and helping create a welcoming destination for residents and visitors to enjoy all summer long.

On Friday, Southport staff were proud to take part in the RCAF 5 KM Run/Walk! 🏃‍♂️✈️

With temperatures soaring and plenty of sunshine on the runway, participants embraced the heat while coming together to promote health, wellness, teamwork, and community spirit.

Organized by the Royal Canadian Air Force and supported by Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, the event encouraged an active lifestyle while fostering connections across the defense community.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event a success!

On Friday, Southport team members spent a day at Red River College Polytechnic College - Stevenson Campus in Winnipeg volunteering for AAiM Day! 🌠

AAiM Day promotes awareness, education, and highlights career opportunities in the local aerospace and aviation industries to students and teachers.

Southport looks forward to hosting a similar event highlighting Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, AME Day, for local grade eight students at RRC Polytech - Stevenson Campus Southport in June!
