We want to start off by sending a huge THANK YOU for all your support for our helicopter tours over the past season. It has brought us great joy to give people the experience of seeing our beautiful island from above, and we could not have done it without your support.
It’s with heavy hearts that we must announce the early end to our 2025 helicopter tour season, due to unforeseen circumstances.

We know how much everyone, ourselves included, was looking forward to the incredible Fall colours over the Highlands, and we truly wish things could be different.
While we won’t be able to complete our Fall tours this Season, we’re pleased to honour our Fall Colours Contest by awarding a cash equivalent for the tour to our winner, Alan Spinney. Congratulations, Alan, and thank you to everyone who participated. Your support, enthusiasm, and passion for exploring the skies have meant the world to us this year. Thank you for making the 2025 season so memorable. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Please note, we will not be flying from Cheticamp this weekend due to the forecasted weather. However, we will continue to operate flights from the Port Hawkesbury Airport until October 13th, weather permitting.

This Saturday, Da Smoky Fish food truck will be docking at our Helicopter Tour Site in Cheticamp. Serg is preparing a tidal wave of flavours that you’ll need fins to keep up with.
His slow-smoked, hand-crafted, locally-sourced deliciousness is top-shelf.
Rumour has it this weekends menu includes his legendary Ramen noodles and Gyoza dumplings, burgers that’ll make your taste buds do the backstroke, his amazing steak and cheese subs (Hands-down the best steak sub I’ve ever had) cheesy dirty fries, Po’boys, Fish-n-chips, a fresh tuna rice bowl and more!!

Oh, and don’t miss Friday’s Big Bite Challenge—Serg will be across from RBC bank in Cheticamp till around 3-4pm.

We’ll be in Cheticamp all weekend starting tomorrow, Friday August 8th to the 10th. We’ve added some tours of Margaree, as a tribute to the Margaree Highland Games being hosted this weekend.
We know that the restrictions that were put in place to keep this island we all love safe may have caused inconveniences in people’s travels but please help us by sharing this post so we can be a contibuting factor in making people’s trips to the Cabot Trails a memorable one.
Our staff on site will help all the people passing by with a list of things that people can still enjoy along their travels, like the Margaree Highland Games, it’s always a great event with lots of fun activities to enjoy!
