Located in Pitt Meadows, BC, north of the Fraser River, Pitt Meadows Airport is your gateway to BC. The Airport consists of one 5000 ft runway, two 2485 ft paved runways, a water runway, float ramp and floatplane dock and a staffed control tower. It is the home base for four major rotary wing operations, provides a float plane dock and ramp, and serves approximately 250 locally based float and reg

ular aircraft. Aviation services at the Pitt Meadows Airport include:
- Aviation support services, fuel sales, hangars, and engineering
- Flight training for fixed, float, helicopter, commercial and APL
- Scheduled passenger service
- Charter Service – fixed, float, helicopter
- Avionics sale and service
- Aircraft painting – outside and indoor
- Aircraft sales and repair

Non-Aviation commerce at the airport includes:
- A large blueberry farm
- A restaurant
- A large horticulture nursery
- Driver training for first responders (ambulance, fire & police)
- Pitt Meadows Fire Department (temporarily)

🚧 Another Work In Progress Update! 🚧

Did you know we are widening the Alpha Taxiway on Apron 1 to provide larger aircraft—such as jets—with a smoother taxiing experience onto our runway?

This is an exciting upgrade for jet operators, especially those planning travel to the region for FIFA-related activity and increased summer demand. ✈️⚽

We’re looking forward to having this enhancement completed before operations ramp up—ensuring we’re ready to support more traffic, more efficiently than ever.

Heli-Parking Pad Project Complete! ✈️💙

Our two new heli-parking pads are officially complete on the west side of Apron 1!

This project is another exciting step in supporting growth and enhancing infrastructure here at YPK. Stay tuned for more airport updates as we continue to invest in improvements across the airport.

The Ninety-Nines Annual Poker Run is taking flight! ♠️✈️

We’re excited to share that the BC Coast Chapter of The Ninety-Nines will be hosting their annual Poker Run this year on:

📅 June 6, 2026
🌧️ Rain Date: June 14, 2026
⏰ 09:00–16:00 local

Pilots will travel between participating airports across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, making stops to collect stamps before returning to Pitt Meadows Airport (CYPK) by 15:00.

You may notice an increase in VFR traffic throughout the day as aircraft visit participating aerodromes, including:

✈️ Langley

✈️ Squamish

Our YPK team had an incredible time attending the BC Aviation Council Conference in Kelowna this week!

From insightful discussions on the future of aviation to connecting with industry leaders, this event was a great opportunity to learn, collaborate, and look ahead.

We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to innovate, grow, and support aviation across British Columbia.

👋 Meet Karsten!

We’re excited to welcome Karsten as the newest member of our YPK Operations team as a General Labourer! ✈️💙

Karsten will be supporting our Operations team on the airfield here at YPK, helping with airfield maintenance and general labour to keep everything running safely and smoothly.

A recent graduate of BCIT’s Aircraft Operations program, he brings great enthusiasm and fresh knowledge to the team—and we’re thrilled to have him on board! 🛩️
