It’s Ontario Ag Week, and we’re looking back to April and the first vessel at the new Parrish & Heimbecker terminal at our facility.
The agri-product sector is a significant piece of Great Lakes cargo and trade. Moving cargo via the water and the marine mode, and servicing the region and its farming activity drives economic activity, and generates international opportunities for Ontario farmers.
Join us in celebrating the farmers and everyone who supports this vital industry.

Today the M/V Vectis Progress is in port loading corn for export to Ireland. This shipment marks a historic milestone for Picton Terminals—representing the first direct bulk export from our terminal to a non-U.S. international market in its more than 70-year history.
