Moving out before you can move in? 📦

It happens more often than you'd think. Closing dates don't always line up, renovations can take longer than planned, and sometimes you just need a little extra time before everything goes into your new home.

That's where storage can come in handy.

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Toronto East, we can help with moving and storage when your plans don't quite line up.

Whether you're moving within Toronto East, Scarborough or the surrounding area, having a plan for your belongings can make the whole process a little easier.

Grandma has high standards. And we think she's right. 😄

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we follow The Grandma Rule®: treat every customer the way you'd want your own grandmother treated.

That means being respectful in your home, taking care with your belongings and remembering that moving day is a big deal for the people we're helping.

It's a simple rule, but an important one for our Toronto East team.

Today is World Mental Health Day. 💚

A friendly reminder to take some time for yourself, check in with the people around you, and make your mental well-being a priority. Sometimes even a small pause can make a difference.

Where would you like this?

Having furniture placed in the right room means less heavy lifting after the truck leaves. Before unloading, decide where the larger pieces will go and label your boxes by room so your movers know what belongs where.

Keep your first-night essentials easy to find, too. Bedding, toiletries and phone chargers shouldn’t require a search through every box.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Toronto East can help with the heavy lifting as you settle into your next home.

Movers for Moms®2026 is officially in the books, and it was another successful year for the program! 💜

This is the second year of Movers for Moms for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK's Canadian locations, and we were able to make positive strides bringing this giving program to Canada. Partnering with 32 different community partners across the country, we were able to collect 4,520 essential care items that were donated to women's and family shelters on or around Mother's Day.

Take a look at some of the highlights from this year's Movers for Moms program in the video below and see how our franchises were able to partner with their communities to make a difference in the lives of others!
