🇮🇹 A little taste of the Italian Riviera! ☀️

Our BST Vacations team member is continuing his Mediterranean adventure, and this time we’re stopping in La Spezia, Italy!

This charming port city is best known as the gateway to Cinque Terre, one of Italy’s most picturesque coastal regions. Just beyond La Spezia lie five colourful seaside villages, tucked between dramatic cliffs and the sparkling Ligurian Sea.

And here’s a fun fact! 🎬 The beautiful coastal scenery and charming villages of this region helped inspire Disney and Pixar’s animated movie Luca! While the movie’s town is fictional, its Italian Riviera inspiration is very real.

La Spezia itself offers a glimpse into everyday Italian life, with waterfront promenades, lively streets, local cafés and a relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Sometimes the beauty of travelling is simply discovering the places along the way!
