Earlier this year, the Ignite Magazine FAM tour brought planners to the Rooftop at Palmer - located at the Four Points by Sheraton Penticton.

An open-air rooftop with views of Okanagan Lake is an easy way to shift the energy after a full day of sessions.

Planner tip: The rooftop is seasonal and reopens in spring. Palmer Kitchen + Spirits and the indoor event spaces at Four Points are open year-round.

Chefs, servers, guides, venue teams and partners all play a part. This summer also showed us what this community looks like when things get tough. Through the challenges of wildfire, people stepped up for one another.

Outside the Box BC was at MPI’s theEVENT in Vancouver recently, and it was great to spend time connecting with planners here on the West Coast.

One of the highlights was theEXCHANGE, where we had four-minute conversations with planners throughout the session. It moved quickly, but it also gave people an easy way to connect with Kamloops, Penticton and Nanaimo all at one table.

There’s also a little extra incentive to keep all three destinations in mind. Eligible meetings booked across Kamloops, Penticton and Nanaimo within a five-year window may qualify for our multi-destination incentive.
