We don’t just do house moves.

At Otter Bay Express, we move heavy appliances, offer white glove service, assemble furniture, and somehow manage to move stand-up pianos too. 🎹

Our goal at Otter Bay Express is simple — work hard, help people, and make sure there are a few laughs along the way. We especially love when customers sit down and play the piano after we move it into their home. Those moments are pretty special.

Big milestone for Otter Bay Express 🚛. Watch the video !!

We just completed our first full move from Vancouver to Pender Island.

Long day… early ferry… lots of stairs… lots of coffee… and yes — another piano. 🎹😂

But this move had a first for us…While we were unloading the rest of the house, the customer sat inside the truck and started playing the piano for us.

Honestly… what a treat.Not many moving companies can say they got a live piano concert in the back of the truck while unloading furniture on Pender Island. 😅

“Spring Clean-Up — Help is Available 🌿

Turns out we’re known for more than just deliveries 😄

Most people know us for bringing in appliances, mattresses, building products, and furniture — all with full white-glove service — plus on-island and off-island moves.

But… we also get a lot of ‘hey, can you take this thing too?’ requests.

If it’s big, awkward, or just living rent-free in your space, we’re happy to help send it on its way (when it makes sense)…not your kids though… they’re yours 😂

Heading into town February 20 Friday with more equipment for repair.

If you need your lawn mower or outdoor equipment picked up (generator, trimmer, pressure washer, etc.), now’s the time.

🚛 Drop-off: Friday morning to Grant’s Small Motors

Stop what you’re doing. Seriously. The Truss is serving pizza and donairs that will ruin all other pizza for you. 🍕💥

Friday night (Feb 13) we got treated like VIPs by Steve, Julie & their son. Donair pizza? Mandatory. Soft seats? 😂 Check the pic — yes, they spoiled us.

Ruby approved too! 🐾 She even snuck a piece later.

Support local. Laugh. Eat amazing food. Book a dinner date with your loved one — it’s worth it all day long. ❤️

What a day last week 😂
This delivery went way beyond white-glove service — straight into white-knuckle territory.

🐐 Full goat-path access, threading around a massive arbutus tree…
💪 Then the moment of truth: a 240-lb fridge dead-lifted to 36” deck-rail height, tipped on its side, and slid over like a puzzle piece.

🌊 One side? Open ocean.
🏠 The other? The neighbour’s house.

No room for error. Just strength, control, and keeping it calm when it mattered.

This is why people call us — we tackle the “impossible,” have a few laughs doing it, and usually get the customer involved too.
It’s never boring, but it always gets done.
