When in Rome…there are culinary marvels for every taste! We decided to try a plant-based street food tour and we were pleasantly surprised! We got to try a number of delicious Roman dishes, naturally plant-based! From pizza to fried artichokes to pasta e fagioli and more, it really was food heaven! It was also a wonderful way to explore the city’s incredible neighbourhoods. Would you try a tour like this?

A very special milestone for Savour Italy Tours. ❤️🇮🇹�

Last week, the Savour Italy community gathered to officially celebrate a new chapter in the company’s story: its acquisition by new owners Colombe Lorantffy and Zoli Loran and launch into Belleville, Prince Edward County and the county region!�

For more than 20 years, Savour Italy Tours has created unforgettable, thoughtfully designed journeys through Italy and beyond. The launch party was an opportunity to honour that history, celebrate the company’s exciting future, and introduce Savour Italy’s new ownership to the Belleville community.�

Colombe and Zoltan are honoured to continue the legacy of this incredible company while bringing their own vision, energy, and passion to its next chapter.�

Savour Italy extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make the evening so memorable, including the Belleville Chamber of Commerce and Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce; The Belleville Club; City of Belleville | Municipal Government Neil Ellis; representatives from the offices of Chris Malette, MP Bay of Quinte and Tyler Allsopp; Trenval Business Development Corporation; the BDC; and the many members of the local community who joined the celebration.�

Special thanks also go to The Landing for hosting the evening, Amy Lett for beautifully capturing it, Nicholas Pearce Wines for providing the wine tastings, and Linguine's Italian Restaurant for the delicious food.�

One of our favourite ways to explore Florence? Hunting down its famous wine windows 🍷🪟

Centuries ago, these tiny windows let Florentines buy wine directly from local families without ever stepping inside. Today, many have been lovingly restored—some still serving wine, others coffee, gelato, or simply standing as beautiful reminders of the city’s history.

We turned finding them into our own little scavenger hunt, wandering down quiet streets we probably never would have discovered otherwise. And honestly? It became one of our favourite memories in Florence.
