NATTIQ came together to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Staff participated in a variety of interactive activity, including Inuit games, inukshuk making, and historical facts on some Indigenous inventions, creations & discoveries. These activities provided an opportunity to learn about Indigenous cultures, traditions, knowledge, and contributions while also enjoying some friendly competition.
The celebration also featured traditional bannock, food, and refreshments, bringing everyone together to connect, learn, and celebrate.
National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to recognize and honour the rich cultures, histories, languages, and contributions of Inuit, First Nations, and Métis Peoples across Canada.
Nakurmiik to everyone who participated and helped make this celebration a success. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate together.
