☀️ Occidental Costa Cancun - I've been seeing this resort pop up a lot in my searching over the last few weeks so I've done a little digging. (that's the bonus of a travel agent, we have access to more reviews and agent site visits so we can fully understand our clients options)
About this resort....
4🌟 Budget friendly, family resort
🏝️Location - about 30-40 minutes from the airport
- Close to downtown for shopping and sightseeing if you choose
- Close to ferry to Isla Mujeres if you decide to visit that
gorgeous island
- calm, clear water
- beach is small but clean
🙌Atmosphere - lively, fun and lots to do
- can feel crowded during busy seasons
- a little out dated
🍹Food & Drink - 2 bars (lobby and beach)
- reservations required at specialty restaurants
- average food selection and reviews

There is so much more to say about this resort, and lots to consider when selecting it, and/or deciding if its right for you.

Bottom line - would I recommend? Yes, depending on my clients, and what they want out of their vacation, I would definitely recommend this resort. I would also stay here myself.

This trip feels like a dream and I am so happy for my client! It took some time to get it just right, but we did it working together and with the support of several suppliers.
This December she will be surrounded by the joy of Christmas at several European Markets. Check out this itinerary:
