Dear Friends,
It is with thankfulness in our hearts, that we wish to inform you that GTL has sold our livestock division effective June1, 2025 to Overweg Trucking Ltd of Coaldale, AB.
What started out as 1 truck and 1 trailer in August of 2015 grew into something none of us could have imagined. Gradually we started adding units, diversifying, and expanding our reach as a company. It is with your help that we were able to grow to 60 plus units, covering everywhere from Abbotsford to Quebec, Fort Nelson to Carolina and everywhere in between.
We would like to take the chance to thank you for your support, friendship and trust. It is not lost on us how many great people are in the industry, and the privilege that it was to get to know each of you.
Going forward, we are confident that Overweg Trucking will continue to offer the same level of service that you have come to expect. Dennis, Robbin and team are top notch individuals and are eager to develop relationships with you. The staff from the GTL office, as well as the drivers will be transitioning to Overweg, and look forward to serving you well!
There are many people to thank, but we would like to say a special thank you to all the staff in the office, and behind the wheel - it has been you that has made all of this possible. To the companies that supported us and worked along side us - thank you for trusting us. To our families who supported us through it all - we could not have done it without you.
GTL will continue serving our loyal grain customers going forward.
