Some projects simply wouldn’t happen without the support of our incredible local community.
A massive thank you to Nowell’s Construction for generously donating the rocks used in our benthic mat pilot project to help manage Eurasian Watermilfoil in Skootamatta Lake.
These rocks are an essential part of securing the mats in place, and their generous donation has made this important conservation initiative possible.
The Nowell family has always been there to support our community, and once again they’ve stepped up when it mattered most. Their commitment to giving back is helping protect the lake we all love.
