This is a massive shift to the WEST. Thank you, UAE.

The United Arab Emirates has announced it is withdrawing from OPEC after more than 50 years, with the move taking effect on May 1.

This decision will allow the UAE to increase its oil production without being limited by OPEC quotas, which could have a significant impact on global oil prices in the coming months.

Some analysts are viewing this as a potential victory for President Trump, who has long criticized OPEC for keeping prices artificially high and harming consumers around the world.

The development marks a notable shift in the international oil market.

What does decades of experience in the world's harshest marine environments mean for naval operations? It means power systems designed to withstand failure and ensure operational readiness. Our "non-commonality" design philosophy, which has delivered unprecedented reliability for our clients, is a game-changer for mission assurance.
Come meet us at DEFSEC Atlantic (Sep 30 to Oct 2) this year to learn more about our technology and how we are working with the defence ecosystem.
