We are proud to share that Polaris has once again been named a 2026 G75 Green Supply Chain Partner by Inbound Logistics.

This distinction honours 75 organizations demonstrating leadership in sustainable supply chain and logistics practices. As environmental responsibility continues to shape the future of global commerce, inclusion on the annual list reflects meaningful commitments to greener operations and long-term sustainability initiatives.

Fulya Karakas-Akgun, Director of Sustainability at Polaris, shared: “Sustainability in transportation and logistics isn't a destination, it's a continuous journey. Being recognized again as a Green Supply Chain Partner affirms that the work our team puts in every day is moving the needle in a real and measurable way.”

Polaris will be featured in the June sustainability editions of Inbound Logistics as part of its special G75 section highlighting environmentally responsible supply chain partners across the industry.

We would like to thank Inbound Logistics for this honour and congratulate our entire team for their continued commitment to building a more sustainable future!

Yesterday, our Polaris Community Care Unit team members Lucy Lewis, Tim Poole, and Shan Kumar hit the road to support the East Wellington Community Food Bank, where they proudly delivered 431lbs of food items!

During the visit, the team had the opportunity to meet Stephanie Conway, Manager of Food Bank and Retail Services, who shared the growing challenges many communities are facing as food insecurity continues to rise. Over the past year alone, East Wellington Community Services has experienced a 24% increase in the number of individuals and families accessing food bank support, while donations continue to decline.

Formerly known as EWAG, East Wellington Community Services has been supporting the Town of Erin and the Township of Guelph/Eramosa since 1984 through essential community programs, including food bank services, youth programs, senior support services, transportation programs and community thrift stores that help fund their important work.

We are proud to continue lending a helping hand through the Polaris CCU and supporting organizations that make such a meaningful impact within our communities.

Thank you to Stephanie Conway and the entire EWCS team for the incredible work you do every day to support families, seniors and individuals in need.

Polaris was proud to join the Trucks For Change Network and Food Banks Canada for the After the Bell program event yesterday at The International Centre.

As students head into summer, many children lose access to the school meal programs they rely on throughout the year. The After the Bell program helps provide weekly food packs to families across Canada during the summer months, helping ensure children continue to have access to nutritious food while school is out.

Our Polaris team was happy to take part in the packing and sorting of food items alongside volunteers and industry partners, helping support communities across the country!

Thank you to Trucks for Change Network and Food Banks Canada for organizing such an impactful initiative. We are proud to continue lending a helping hand and supporting programs that make a meaningful difference for families in need.

This week, we started our native planting initiative at our Mississauga facility, marking an important milestone in our sustainability and climate resilience journey.

Last year, Polaris enrolled in the Corporate Flood and Heat Risk Management Program, a joint initiative of Partners in Project Green, a program of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Toronto Pearson, and Credit Valley Conservation, to better understand and address flood and heat risks across our company property. Through site assessments, recommendations, and action planning, native species planting was identified as an important first step toward improving the long-term resilience of our facility.

This week, that plan became reality as native species selected specifically for our site and local climate conditions were planted across the property. We were proud to be joined on-site by Partners in Project Green alongside members of our own Polaris team to support this initiative. It was a small crew, but a meaningful day and an important step forward in our sustainability journey.

At Polaris, climate resilience is not only an environmental goal for us, it's a business continuity priority. As extreme weather events continue to impact communities and infrastructure, initiatives like this help us build a stronger, more sustainable future for our operations, our employees, and the communities we serve.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this initiative possible!

This week was Safety Week at Polaris!

Our Health & Safety Committee put together a full week of safety-focused presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions to help build awareness and share important safety practices with our team.

Topics included road check safety, yard safety, human trafficking awareness, safe driving practices, and rear-end collision prevention. Throughout the week, team members also participated in interactive games, including trivia and Jeopardy-themed challenges, with prizes awarded to daily winners.

At Polaris, safety is our priority and the non-negotiable foundation of everything we do, and this week reinforced the importance of our safety values and culture across the organization.

A big thank you to our Health & Safety Committee for the outstanding work that went into making Safety Week such a success!
