Any company can sell you on day one.
Nice office. Good benefits. Big promises about growth.
That part's easy.

The harder question is why people stay. What keeps someone at Seaport after one year, five years, ten?

Our non-forced turnover is practically zero. People aren't leaving because they found something better. They're building careers here.

They stay because there's real ownership in the work. Leadership is accessible and actually listens. When the company grows, they grow with it.

We're scaling across Canada and the US right now. The people who are here aren't just filling roles.

They're stepping into leadership, taking on more responsibility, shaping how things get done.

You can't promise that in an interview. But our numbers show it's actually happening.

You shouldn't have to call someone just to find out where your freight is.

But with a lot of carriers, that's still the process. Pick up the phone. Send an email. Wait for someone to dig through their system. Hope they get back to you before your customer starts asking questions.

That's not tracking. That's chasing.

Our portal gives you real-time GPS visibility on every container. Live notifications when something changes. No phone calls. No waiting.

You get the access. You get the control.

Most companies talk about "open door" leadership. At Seaport, it's how the business actually runs.

Our structure is intentionally flat. Drivers, terminal teams, and office staff have direct access to decision makers. No layers. No waiting.
A load issue doesn't climb a hierarchy. It goes straight to the person who can fix it.

That's why our drivers get answers fast. Customer service can escalate immediately. And customers get proactive communication without delays.

Speed isn't a buzzword here. It's a byproduct of how we're built.

When most people picture working at a trucking company, they think of a dusty back office where nothing has changed in 20 years. That's not what it looks like at Seaport.

We moved into a modern facility in 2022. We went fully paperless in 2019. Our teams work with real-time tracking, advanced TMS software, and tools that actually make the job easier instead of more complicated.

If you're in customer service, you have real visibility into every shipment.

You can actually solve problems instead of apologizing and transferring calls.

If you're in dispatch or operations, you're working with AI-powered routing and live data, not guesswork.

And the company is growing. Bigger fleet, more terminals, new facilities opening up.

That creates roles, and people who started in one position are moving into leadership because there's actually somewhere to go.

Voluntary turnover is practically zero. That's drivers and office staff. People stay because it's a good place to work.

Most companies have values written on a wall somewhere and forgotten about a week after onboarding.

We have three at Seaport. They actually shape how decisions get made and how people treat each other.

The first is own the outcome.
When something goes wrong, you don't pass it off or wait for a manager to tell you what to do. If you're closest to the problem, it's yours to solve. That's how things actually get handled instead of sitting in limbo.

The second is have a progressive outlook.
This industry has a reputation for being stuck in its ways. We're constantly asking what could be better. Processes, technology, how we communicate with customers. Nothing is sacred just because we've always done it that way.

The third is inspire those around you.
How you show up when it's busy. How you talk to the driver having a rough day. How you handle pressure without making it someone else's problem. The small things set the culture.

Values are easy to write down. Living them is what makes them real.

Logistics has a reputation for being stuck in the past. For a lot of companies, that reputation is accurate.

Resistance to anything new because that's how it's always been done. Paper logbooks. Phone-tag dispatching. Customers waiting on callbacks for information they should already have on a screen.

Seaport doesn't operate like that.

We went fully paperless in 2019. Dispatch, logbooks, invoicing, all digital. Our trucks run advanced telematics, in-cab cameras, and automatic braking systems.

Customers track their freight in real time through our portal instead of chasing updates over the phone.

We use AI powered routing and decision support because the tools exist, and they work.

This industry is changing whether companies want it to or not. You either build forward or spend the next decade trying to catch up.

If you want to be part of a company that's investing in the future of this industry, we'd like to hear from you.

We Helped Deliver Formula 1 to Montreal!

While the world watches Formula 1 take over Montreal this weekend, the team at Seaport Group is proud to say we helped make it happen.

A huge shoutout to our Door and Linehaul teams for successfully moving containers from U.S. terminals into Montreal for this incredible event.

Much like Formula 1, this project required speed, precision, teamwork, and flawless ex*****on under intense timelines, and our team delivered.

We’re extremely proud of everyone involved. Moments like this highlight the dedication of our people and the strength of our operation.

Great work team!

Every logistics company says they care about safety. It's on the website. There's a poster in the breakroom. They might mention it in an interview.

If you've worked in this industry, you know the difference between talking about safety and actually investing in it.

At Seaport, every truck runs lane keeping assist and an automatic braking system.
AI powered in-cab cameras that are there to protect you when something happens on the road, not to catch you doing something wrong.
G-force trackers, remote monitoring, and equipment that gets maintained on schedule, not after it breaks.

That's how we earned elite status with Northbridge Insurance. Top 5% of the safest fleets in Canada.

That rating doesn't come from paperwork. It comes from how we run the operation every day.

If you've worked with companies that cut corners or put you in situations that didn't feel right, you know what that's like.
We're not that company. Safety here is something you'll see, not something we just say.

Any carrier promising you a perfect supply chain is selling you something they can't deliver.

Delays, equipment failures, customs holds. They're part of moving freight. Pretending otherwise just means you find out the hard way when it matters most.

We built Seaport around the assumption that things will sometimes go sideways.
So we put the systems in place to catch problems early.

Our team flags potential delays before your container even arrives, and we reach out before you have to call us.

The infrastructure exists to solve issues quickly, not paper over them.

The safety record, the satisfaction scores, the awards. None of that came from luck. It came from being ready.

We'd rather be the carrier that calls you with a problem and a plan than the one that promises everything will be fine and disappears the moment it isn't.

When you're managing freight, the worst answer you can get is "let me check and get back to you."

You need information now. Not after someone digs through a system, transfers your call, or returns the message tomorrow.

We built Seaport's customer service around that.

Teams in Toronto, Montreal, and India give us coverage across time zones and real availability when you need it.

Callback and ticketing systems make sure nothing slips through the cracks. Every call, every email gets handled.

When you reach our team, they have full visibility into your shipment. Where it is, what's happening with it, what's coming next. You get a real answer the first time you ask.

Our portal is there for the times you'd rather check yourself.
But when you need a person, a person picks up.

Responsive service isn't a bonus at Seaport. It's the baseline.
