QCP has been on fire! Quite literally, unfortunately.

It’s been a tough 24 hours for the QCP team.

Unit 1, our flagship pilot car was lost in a vehicle fire yesterday. While seeing years of equipment go up in flames is difficult, we’re incredibly grateful that our operator walked away safely.

We also want to recognize the outstanding response from everyone involved. Our operator, the crew we were running with, the responding fire department, and emergency personnel handled the situation professionally and by the book from start to finish.

Trucks can be replaced. People can’t.

You never know when and how equipment will finally call it quits. And it’s interesting and almost poetic that unit 1 went out in a blaze of glory doing what it’s done since day 1, instead of rotting to rust in some compound in the back 40 somewhere.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kind words and support. We truly appreciate it.

We will do what QCP does best. We’ll clean up, rebuild, and keep doing what we do.

Unit 18 should be on the road within a couple weeks.
