Pleasant Paddling At Pleasant Paddling we believe that Nova Scotia has some of the best coastline in the world. We love to get people kayaking.

Pleasant Paddling is located in the beautiful village of Blue Rocks, on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. We tour Blue Rocks and Stonehurst, the Front and Back Harbours of Lunenburg and our kayaks have ranged as far as the Oven's Sea Caves, the Lahave Islands, Mahone Bay and Chester. Whatever you are looking for in the world of sea kayaking - whether it is rentals or guided tours of any size - please contact us.

Put your rock-skipping skills to the test at this year's Nova Scotia Rock Skipping Championship! Join us on July 26th for an exciting display of skill and fun. There will also be 'skipping' themed prizes to win 👏

We are now competing for the furthest rock skipped! Our event will also be a qualifier for the World Stone Skimming Championship is Scotland. The Championship takes place on Easdale Island on the west coast in a slate quarry. Throw well with us and book your trip to Scotland!

All proceeds go to P.R.O. Kids recreation funding for youth in the Lunenburg County area.

Book our Youth Kayak Camp! We think this is the best thing kids can do in the summer. The days are filled by kayaking, exploring islands, swimming, and just having fun in the islands around Blue Rocks.
July 13th to 17th - For ages 12 to 14
It is an all outdoor day camp with super fun and experienced guides. The campers will learn kayaking skills, navigation, have leadership roles all the while being in one of the most beautiful placing in Nova Scotia.
