One thing I always remind clients is that Disneyland dining reservations can start opening 60 days before your visit, so it’s worth having a bit of a plan before that window arrives.

When you are choosing a resort, do not only ask, “Is it nice?” Rather, ask, “What kind of vacation does this resort make easy?”

Some resorts make it easy to relax by the pool all day, while some make it easy to keep kids busy. There are some that are better for food, walkability, nightlife, quiet mornings, beach time, or excursions.

That difference matters. Two resorts can both look beautiful online, but create very different trips once you are there. And this is why the “right” resort is not always the fanciest one. It is the one that matches the kind of vacation you actually want to have.
