Our mechanical shop is conveniently located in the upper building at The Moorings Marina, 327 Snug Harbour Road, on Sturgeon Lake, just a few miles outside of Lindsay which makes us easily accessible by either water or land. With over 60 years of combined service experience working on the Trent Severn Waterway, we have t

he knowledge and factory training to do your job right, the first time. As part of our services we also offer boat repair at home or dock, as well as pick up and delivery. It has never been easier to store your boat with our convenient winter storage packages. At Mechanics on the Trent we strive to provide boaters with the best possible service experience, and welcome the opportunity to enhance your time on the water. To all our valued customers;
It sure is nice to see spring has sprung. Now it’s time to think about the preparation of your boats. While it’s out of the water, you should take into consideration the condition of the hull, aswell as any preventative maintenance you may need before launch.
We would also like to remind everyone we require two weeks notice to have your boat ready and launched for the 2025 boating season.

To all our valued customers,

Mechanics on the Trent would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back for another fantastic season of boating!

We would also like to welcome the newest member of our team, Josh Marsh. As well as, Evin Barker, who has been a valued employee to Mechanics on the Trent for his fifth year.

Both employees are in their third year of the Marine Mechanic Apprenticeship program at Georgian College, and are dedicated to providing customers with personal, professional service!

We hope everyone has a fun filled boating season this year!
