Calling all mini aviators and pups-in-training! We have some absolutely paw-some news to share about our upcoming Air Fair this Saturday, August 29.

The ultimate high-flying pup, Skye, will be soaring into the airport as our extra-special guest! But wait... we’ve also heard a rumor that a certain clumsy but heroic fire-pup might be trying to hitch a ride with her as a surprise guest! 🚒

Whether your little ones dream of flying high in the sky or saving the day, this is their chance to experience some real puppy magic right here at the airport.

Freshly mowed grass is great for curb appeal, but out on the airfield, it serves a much bigger purpose.

Managing our green spaces is a key component of our Wildlife Management strategy. Tall grass provides an ideal habitat, shelter, and food source for birds and other animals. By keeping our grass neatly trimmed, we naturally deter wildlife from settling near the active flight paths and runways.

Routine mowing also guarantees that our airfield lighting, signage, and critical pilot sightlines remain completely unobstructed day and night.

Safety is always the priority, from the skies right down to the soil!

Did you see helicopters flying around BC Place or downtown Vancouver during FIFA World Cup 2026?

Many of those RCMP Air Services helicopters were operating out of Langley Regional Airport (YNJ)!
Over the month of the tournament, we were proud to support RCMP aviation operations as they assisted with security and public safety across the Lower Mainland.

A big thank you to the RCMP crews for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication throughout this major international event.

Recently, we welcomed the grade 2 class from Langley Fine Arts School for an action-packed, behind-the-scenes airport field trip!

Our young guests didn't just learn about planes, they put their fine arts creativity to work! Every student got the chance to design and build their very own dream aircraft. We were absolutely blown away by their creativity, and we are working on a plan to have these incredible masterpieces displayed at the airport soon for all our visitors to see.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and parents from Langley Fine Arts for visiting us. The future of aviation is looking incredibly bright!
