Happy friday

Ever since the Enlightenment, a politics of ideology has reigned. Movement vs. Order. Conservatism vs. Liberalism. Right vs. Left. All our lives we've been running this experiment . . . cultivating ideology deeper and deeper into our roots, our identities, our sense of value and worth . . . so deep, in fact, that it often feels like a division is in the very air we breathe . . .

But now we face something much larger, existential threats rising up every way you turn. and at this crucial moment of danger we are unable to communicate with each other. totally impotent to pull off any of the big systemic changes we now need to survive.

Even protest, which was once our joie de vivre, the engine of change, of hope . . . has lost its mojo and power. Fundamentally organized towards fixing an old, outmoded, doomsday politics.

So we've been thinking, the time has come to swipe aside the old and birth something new.

It might look something like this: we are dead without an unfiltered, unalgorithmed communication system. We cannot discuss or address any issue if our signal will be lost in the noise.

Then, we must deal with the climate crisis, because nothing else will matter if the planet is cooking.

Then we can start tackling how money flows, what economics measures, how markets work, how the straight line capitalist aesthetic has led us astray . . . and on we go from there.

We will never achieve systemic change with the old Left and Right. We need a new way.

So let's give birth to a new politics of survival!

Last man standing Demolition derby to end the night.
•Cars only.
•Trucks and vans combined.
