There’s something so special about seeing Disney through toddler eyes ✨
The wonder, the tiny gasps, and the excited waves to their favourite characters in the parade. 🥹
If you’ve been wondering whether you can really do Disney with a little one, you absolutely can! Here are a few tips to help:
✨ Plan for a Midday Reset – Head back to your resort for naps, pool time, or quiet downtime, then return refreshed for the evening.
✨ Use the Baby Care Centres – Even with toddlers, these air-conditioned spaces are perfect for diaper changes, nursing, or simply taking a breather.
✨ Take Advantage of Rider Switch – One parent rides while the other waits, then you swap without lining up again.
✨ Pack Lots of Snacks – Hungry toddlers can change moods fast. Snacks are your best friend!
✨ Skip Some Early Mornings – Rope drop is great, but so is extra sleep. You’re on vacation too.
✨ Choose the Right Stroller – Disney days are long, and little legs get tired. Make sure your stroller fits size requirements, can fold for buses, and is cozy enough for naps. Bonus tip: add something unique so you can spot it in stroller parking instantly.
✨ Don’t Underestimate Toddler-Friendly Rides – Attractions without height requirements are fair game, and there are 20+ at Magic Kingdom alone!
✨ Be Flexible with Fireworks – Some toddlers love them, some don’t (mine still doesn’t at 3!). Headphones may make all the difference.
✨ Plan Character Dining Wisely – These meals are magical but can easily take two hours, so they’re best on lighter park days.
✨ Manage YOUR Expectations – Yes, it is magical. Yes, you want them to experience it all. But it just isn’t possible. You need to go in knowing you can’t do everything, and be willing to pivot when things don’t go as planned.
Remember, the best Disney memories are often the unexpected ones. 🫶🏻✨
