Here at Killarney Lake Boat Works we’re winterizing Calvin’s Bayliner, getting it ready to go to sleep for the winter. Great boat, great family, and they brought it to us early. He’s the very first boat being winterized for 2026. Life just got busy we all know how it is. Let’s get our boats put away right, with the right materials.
When we winterize, we use Star brite antifreeze rated to negative one hundred degrees because your boat deserves protection that actually holds up.
One thing we should all consider when winterizing: lower-end gear case oil changes. Nobody wants to find water in a gear case that’s cracked come spring. Let’s do your boat right bring it to us at Killarney Lake Boat Works.

At Killarney Lake Boatworks, we’re saying farewell to Captain Cal Richardson as he steps away from boating. For years, it’s been our privilege to keep his pontoon running strong on Pelican Lake. Cal, you’ve been more than a customer—you’ve been part of the Killarney Lake family. We wish you and your family good health, adventure, and all the travels ahead. And Cal, the door’s always open. Come by anytime. Cheers to the Peters family, who will carry Cal’s legend forward on the water with his Harris 💪.
