Gardening assistant required for busy self-employed gardener. Duties include yard and garden maintenance on high end properties in the Kelowna area. The nature of our clientele require a keen eye for detail and high standards.
This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. Plant knowledge & gardening experience is required. Power equipment is used daily (ie: blower, hedge trimmer, etc.) and willingness to use or experience is necessary.
This position is a full time role with some variance in hours depending on workload and time of year. Employer is able to balance work with life. The ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude, passion for gardening, is self motivated and trustworthy and loves the outdoors. Compensation will be negotiated with the right applicant, starting at $18 with increases rewarded depending on experience. Please have your own transportation.
