Can you imagine spending your summer down on the lake with an awesome crew?

Join Maeg’s BBQ Boats crew and lead boat tours on beautiful Lake Okanagan in Kelowna this summer from May to September.

Operating for 6 years, Maeg’s BBQ Boats has been touring lake Okanagan in our unique 10-person round electric donut boats with guests from all over the world during 45-minute tours and 2-hour rentals.

As a Boat Tour Guide, you’ll get the unique opportunity to guide our 45-minute tours around the lake and provide unique insights, history and stories about the area whilst hosting guests on the boat. As a Kiosk Attendant you’ll ensure the check-in process is a breeze and prepare guests for an awesome experience.

What you’ll do:

Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner

Check guests in for tours and rentals, provide information route and points of interest

Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner

Answer, record and process all customer calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns

Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate customer service guidelines

Routinely book reservations for group tours and rentals

Interact with guests while driving electric boat

Contribute to our positive reviews by providing engaging and captivating tours

Work as part of a team and communicate with managers and tour guides to ensure excellent quality and service

Who you are:

An outdoor enthusiast with interest in Kelowna and the Okanagan

Holds or can obtain a Pleasure Craft License (Online course)

S.V.O.P./Med A3 certificates are assets

Enthusiastic, engaging, and friendly

Confident in public speaking and customer service

Willing to work weekends and holidays
