🚌 💛 Safe Rides, Everyday Heroes! 🌟🚦
It’s School Bus Safety Week, October 19-23! This week, School Bus Ontario is celebrating the dedicated school bus drivers who make a difference in the lives of Ontario’s students every single day. 🎉
Behind every route is a student, a family, and a community that depends on safe, reliable transportation. Our school bus drivers do so much more than get students from point A to point B. They navigate changing weather conditions, busy roads, and early mornings while putting student safety first. Their patience, professionalism, and care make them true everyday heroes! 💛 👏
🗓️ Wednesday, October 21, is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Join us in recognizing the incredible men and women behind the wheel who help students start and end their school days safely. A simple thank-you can go a long way in showing our appreciation for all they do! 🚌 🙌
🚦 Safety is everyone’s responsibility! Drivers, parents, students, and communities all have a role to play. Stop for flashing red lights, slow down in school zones, stay alert around school buses, and reinforce safe behaviours when getting on and off the bus. Together, we can help make every ride a safe ride.
🏆 Stay tuned! Throughout the week, we’ll be celebrating the winners of the 2026 SBO Driver Excellence Award, sharing their stories and highlighting the dedication that makes them stand out in their communities.
💛 From everyone at School Bus Ontario, THANK YOU to our school bus drivers and the entire student transportation community for everything you do. Your commitment helps keep Ontario’s students safe, families reassured, and communities moving.
