Day 3 - A Toronto Adventure

Aquariums, baseball, and one very happy 5-year-old! 🦈⚾️💙

A little time at Ripley’s Aquarium, then cheering on the Jays — with plenty of driving and some seriously crazy Toronto traffic after the game. 😂

But when you’re making memories, totally worth every kilometre and traffic jam. ❤️

Day 2 — Muskoka exploring! 🚂🌲

Today was all about showing our grandson a little more of Muskoka! We explored Huntsville, rode the steam train, and grabbed lunch at Ribfest before heading to Gravenhurst for a wander along the boardwalk.

The Muskoka Discovery Centre was unfortunately closed for a private event, so we’ll just have to save that one for another visit!

Then back to Port Carling for dinner at Turtle Jack’s. ❤️

And I’m pretty sure Muskoka has a rule we didn’t know about… there must be a cottage, a dock and an Adirondack chair within eyesight at all times. 😂🪑🌊

More family, more exploring, more Canada. 🇨🇦❤️

☀️ Day 1: A little Muskoka summer adventure! 🇨🇦

Four days, family, sunshine, grandkids… and a part of Ontario we’ve never explored before! ❤️

We’re spending a few days in the Bracebridge & Lake Muskoka area visiting one of our daughters and the grandkids while she’s busy with a Pendleton pop-up in Port Carling. So naturally, we had to do a little exploring of our own!

Today took us around Bracebridge and Port Carling — beautiful lakes, charming little towns, summer scenery and lots of time enjoying the best part of travelling: discovering somewhere new with the people you love. 🥰

And it’s a good reminder that you don’t always have to go far to find somewhere new to explore. Canada is HUGE, and there are still so many places on our own doorstep waiting to be discovered.

As a travel advisor, I’m always helping clients find those “somewhere we’ve never been” destinations — and sometimes my own travels are a pretty good reminder to keep exploring closer to home too! ✈️🇨🇦

And if you happen to be in Port Carling, be sure to pop in and see the Pendleton pop-up — because supporting family while they’re working definitely counts as part of the vacation itinerary, right? 😉❤️

Day 1 was pretty fabulous. Now… let’s see what the next three days bring!
