Every new driver, regardless of their level of experience, is trained by an Arrow Driver Mentor. These mentors are one of the most valuable resources each division has when it comes to the selection and training of newly hired drivers. Not only do they provide mentorship to experienced drivers but they are increasingly asked to train those that are recent Class 1 MELT trained candidates. Congratulations to our 12 recent graduates of the Driver Mentor Training Program.

When Arrow recently partnered with Peterbilt Pacific and Cummins to test the new X15N natural gas engine, Driver Mentor Wayne was behind the wheel helping put the technology through real-world forestry operations.

From fibre hauls in the Kamloops and Adams Lake region to previous equipment demonstrations, Wayne's experience and feedback continue to play an important role in evaluating emerging transportation technologies.

When critical LNG operations in Kitimat were disrupted by an equipment failure, a rapid response was needed to get repairs underway.

After a replacement component was sourced in Germany and flown to Vancouver, Arrow's Jason Askeland stepped in to ensure it reached its final destination.

Late Friday night, Jason met the incoming courier at YVR. Early Saturday morning, he boarded a flight to Terrace, rented a vehicle, and drove directly to Kitimat to hand-deliver the urgent shipment.

By 11 a.m., the component was on site and critical repair work could begin.

This is what customer commitment looks like. Thank you, Jason, for going above and beyond when it mattered most.
