To help ensure the communities of Inuvik and Tuk are able to stay connected EGT Northwind is providing ESCORTED TRIPS from Inuvik to Tuk and Tuk to Inuvik.

For Wednesday, February 14th an es**rted trip from Inuvik to Tuk will leave at 9:00 AM.

As there is a lot of construction equipment working to get the road back to safe a safe condition, please wait in a single file line at the Road Closed sign at the entrance for the highway for the es**rt vehicle.

A return trip from Tuk to Inuvik will take place at 3:00 PM. Again, please wait near the Road Closed sign at the entrance to the highway until the es**rt vehicle arrives to bring people back south.

To help ensure the public safety and the safety of our equipment operators, please respect the process and follow all direction from EGT Northwind staff and es**rt vehicle operators.

Please drive safely and please only travel when required.

EGT Northwind is providing ESCORTED services while the Inuvik-tuk high way is being worked on to safely re-open the road.

Please be very cautious as there is multiple different equipment working on the road.

Duties include but not limited to:

🚙Perform routine maintenance

🛻Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles

🚙Able to work independently and as a team

🛻Read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records

🚙Experience with IDS/FDRS diagnostic or willingness to learn

Requirements:

Experienced
Punctual and reliable
Class 5 drivers license
Own tool’s are a definite asset but not required.

Wages are dependant on experience

This is an exciting partnership and we are hoping it will help the north. The goal is a weekly trip, but it may be slower at the beginning. Once approved, drop off will happen at their Top Shop - 81 Wasson Place, Whitehorse, Yukon (across from the airport).
